Going on vacation is one thing.  Leaving your home for six months is quite another.  As I mentioned in the previous post, 90% of the preparations were done by Cathy.  She is a master organizer, admittedly obsesses about every detail, keeps lists, and lists of lists, follows up on everything, rides herd on Steve, and generally thinks of everything. This blog has been started by Steve in order to chronicle our trip on the Oceania Cruise Line ship Insignia that leaves Miami on January 3, 2018 and returns to Miami on July 1, 2018.  According to the brochure, we will be calling on 87 ports in 40 countries and will cover 37,000 miles on our voyage.
